MAJJIGA (BUTTERMILK) CHARU


INGREDIENTS:

Curd: 200gms
Onions: 2
Green chilies: 2-3
Turmeric Powder
Mustard Seeds: 1/2tsp
Urad dal: 1/2tsp
Jeera: 1/2tsp
Red Chilies: 2
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Oil
METHOD:
  1. Heat 1tsp of oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds, urad dal, jeera, curry leaves, red chilies, sliced green chilies and sliced onions. Also add turmeric powder and Fry till they turn brown.
  2. Now, add thick batter of curd and salt. mix well and flame off.
  3. Finally Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with rice.
  4. If you used excess water mixed curd (butter milk) add basin for thickness.
