INGREDIENTS:
Sorrel Leaves paste: 3tsp
Boiled Rice: 2cups
Mustard Seeds: 1tsp
Urad dal: 1tsp
Chana dal: 1tsp
Ground nuts: 2tbsp
Red Chilis: 3
Green Chilais: 2
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
METHOD:
Sorrel Leaves Paste:
Sorrel leaves: 3 bunches
Green Chilis: 2
Salt
Turmeric Powder
- Add all this in a pan and boil sorrel leaves by adding little bit water and put lid.
- After they get room temperature blend them to make a fine paste.
- You can store it for a week.
Pulihora :
- Heat oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds, urad dal, green chilis, red chilis, curry leaves, ground nuts and cashew nuts.
- Now, add turmeric powder and mix well
- Now, pour this on boiled rice and mix well.
- Now, add Sorrel leaves(gongura) paste as needed, salt and mix well.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
