DAL WITH YELOW CUCUMBER

INGREDIENTS:
Dal: 150gms
Cucumber: 1
Tomatoes: 2
Onion: 1
Garlic: 3cloves
Green Chilis: 2-3
Mustard Seeds: 1tsp
Urad dal: 1tsp
Jeera: 1tsp
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Turmeric Powder
Red Chili Powder
Salt
Oil
METHOD:
  1. Cook Dal, chopped Cucumber pieces and tomato in cooker for 3-5whistles.
  2. Mix well boiled cucumber, dal , tomato and add salt
  3. Heat 2tbsp of oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds, urad dal, Jeera and red chilis, green chilis, garlic and curry leaves.
  4. Now add chopped onion pieces, turmeric powder, red chili powder and mix well
  5. Now, add mixed dal cucumber and add some water and cook for some time.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice.

TIP:  Sometimes if you add tomato with dal, it will take time to boil dal. so, if you want to cook tomatoes in cooker along with dal then put tomatoes in another vessel.
