INGREDIENTS:
Tamarind: small lemon size
Tomato: 1
Mustard Seeds: 1tsp
Urad dal: 1/2tsp
jeera: 1tsp
Fenugreek Seeds: 1tsp
Ajwain ( Vaamu): 2tsp
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Turmeric Powder
Red chili powder
Oil
METHOD:
- Soak tamarind in 1ltr. and squeeze tamarind and tomato in water with hand. So that, if u have any seeds in tamarind u can take off.
- Now, add turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt.
- Now, put the cooking bowl on stove and add ajwain, curry leaves and coriander leaves and boil for 10mins
- Now for seasoning, Heat oil in a pan, fry mustard seeds, urad dal, garlic, red chilies, jeera, fenugreek seeds, ajwain and curry leaves. If u want, u can add onion pieces too. Fry them, till brown. and pour it into rasam. serve hot with rice only.
