RASAM

INGREDIENTS:
Tamarind: small lemon size
Tomato: 1
Mustard Seeds: 1tsp
Urad dal: 1/2tsp
jeera: 1tsp
Fenugreek Seeds: 1tsp
Ajwain ( Vaamu): 2tsp
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Salt
Turmeric Powder
Red chili powder
Oil

METHOD:
  1. Soak tamarind in 1ltr. and squeeze tamarind and tomato in water with hand. So that, if u have any seeds in tamarind u can take off.
  2. Now, add turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt.
  3. Now, put the cooking bowl on stove and add ajwain, curry leaves and coriander leaves and boil for 10mins
  4. Now for seasoning, Heat oil in a pan, fry mustard seeds, urad dal, garlic, red chilies, jeera, fenugreek seeds, ajwain and curry leaves. If u want, u can add onion pieces too. Fry them, till brown. and pour it into rasam. serve hot with rice only.
