RIDGEGOURD FRY WITH MILK

INGREDIENTS:
Ridge gourd / Beerakaya / Turai: 1/2kg
Onions: 2
Milk: 1cup
Mustard Seeds: 1tsp
Urad dal: 1tsp
Jeera: 1/2tsp
Green Chilis: 2
Red Chilis: 2
Curry Leaves
Chana dal: 1tsp
Turmeric Powder
Red Chili Powder
Salt
Oil - 2tbsp

METHOD:
  1. Heat Oil in a pan, Fry mustard seeds, urad dal, jeera, green Chilis, red Chilis, chana dal and curry leaves.
  2. Now, add chopped onion pieces and fry till they turn brown.
  3. Now, add chopped ridge gourd. Also add turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
  4. Put the lid and meanwhile stir it to avoid sticky.
  5. When ridge gourd is well cooked then, add red chili powder and mix well.
  6. Now, add milk and cook till thickened.
  7. Finally, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
