COCONUT WITH CHANA DAL

INGREDIENTS:
Chana dal: 1cup
Coconut: 1
Green Chilis: 2
Turmeric Powder
Red Chili Powder
Salt
Curry Leaves
Coriander Leaves
Mustard Seeds: 1tsp
Urad dal: 1tsp
Oil: 2tbsp
Dhaniya powder
Garam masala
Garlic - 5cloves

METHOD:
  1. Heat oil in a pan, and fry mustard seeds, urad dal, green Chilis and curry leaves.
  2. Now, add soaked chana dal and turmeric powder, red chili powder and salt and fry for some time.
  3. Now, add grated coconut and garlic. Mix well.
  4. Now, add some water and cook till it softens, and water is evaporated.
  5. Add, Coriander powder and garam masala and mix well.
  6. Finally , garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
