INGREDIENTS:
Yard long beans (Barabati): 250gm
Potatoes: 250gm
Mustard Seeds: 1/2tsp
Urad Dal: 1/2tsp
Curry Leaves
Turmeric Powder
Red chili powder
Salt
Oil: 2tbsp
METHOD:
- Heat Oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
- Now, add beans pieces and salt, turmeric powder and put lid.
- If you are using raw potatoes, add them along with beans. otherwise, u can add boiled potatoes when beans are well cooked.
- When the curry is fully cooked, add red chili powder and fry for some time.
- Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
TIPS: Here, I used Boiled Potatoes. It tastes better when using boiled potatoes than the raw potatoes.
Also, U can add ginger garlic paste when beans are added. The recipe is good with rice or roti
