JHAL MOORI

INGREDIENTS:

Marumaralu: 2cups
Sevai: 4tbsp
Putnalu: 4tbsp
Ground nuts: 3tbsp
Tomato pieces: 1/2cup
Coriander leaves
Fresh coconut grated: 2tbsp
Green Chilis: 1
Onions: 2tbsp
Mustard oil: 1/2tsp
Pickle oil: 1/2tsp
Salt

METHOD:

  1. Take all the ingredients into a bowl and mix well and serve.

    what is savai?
    what is pickle oil?
    are the peanuts raw or roasted?

  2. 1. You can buy sevai mixture that contains fried peanuts,coriander leaves etc. Or u can made it with besan.

    2. Im using Pickle oil only for taste.. with out this also u can make. You can use mango pickle oil. It tastes good. or use Olive oil.

    3. Use roasted peanuts. If you use ready-made mixture no need to add again peanuts.

  3. for uk readers, maramarulu is puffed rice; putnalu is roasted chana dhal. i havent tried this recipe yet but am about to.
