KOLHAPURI MUTTON CURRY

INGREDIENTS: 

Mutton: 1/2kg 
Turmeric: 1tsp 
Ginger garlic: 1tbsp 
Oil: 1cup 
Cloves: 8 
Pepper: 8 
White poppy seeds (gasalu): 1/2tsp
Coriander seeds: 1tsp 
Aniseed (sompu): 1tsp 
Red Chilis: 6 
Onions: 2 
Coconut grated: half 
Tomatoes: 3 
Potatoes: 4 (peeled and cut into half) 
Coriander leaves 
Salt 

METHOD:
  1. Clean mutton and marinate with salt, turmeric and ginger garlic paste.
  2. Heat 2tbsp of oil in a pan. Fry cloves, pepper, coriander seeds, sompu, poppy seeds and red Chilis. Mix well and fry for some time.
  3. Now, add onions and fry.
  4. After that, add grated coconut and tomato pieces.
  5. Now, Grind above fried mixture.
  6. Heat oil in pressure cooker and fry mutton pieces and Potato pieces.
  7. After that add Above masala paste, salt
  8. Add sufficient water and put the lid. Cook it for 4-6whistles and turn off the stove.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
