MASALA DOSA




INGREDIENTS:

Rice: 11/2cup
Urad dal: 1/2cup
salt
Potatoes: 2large
Onion: 1medium chopped
Chana dal: 1/2tsp
Mustard seeds: 1/2tsp
Turmeric: 1/2tsp
Green chilis : 1-2
Oil: 1tbsp
METHOD:
  1. Separately soak rice and Urad dal at least 6hrs or overnight in water
  2. Grind to paste
  3. Mix together. Add salt and add water to make batter.
  4. Leave it in room temperature for overnight.
  5. Mix onions and chilis in the batter.
  6. Heat a pan and griddle with little ghee or oil.
  7. Spread a big spoonful of the mix on pan
  8. Cook on both sides if desired.
  9. Heat oil add mustard seeds, chana dal, onions, and spices
  10. Fry for about 5mins on medium heat or until onions are turned into golden brown
  11. Add potatoes and cook for few minutes.
  12. Fill this mixture inside Dosa and serve hot.
