INGREDIENTS:
Rice: 11/2cup
Urad dal: 1/2cup
salt
Potatoes: 2large
Onion: 1medium chopped
Chana dal: 1/2tsp
Mustard seeds: 1/2tsp
Turmeric: 1/2tsp
Green chilis : 1-2
Oil: 1tbsp
METHOD:
Rice: 11/2cup
Urad dal: 1/2cup
salt
Potatoes: 2large
Onion: 1medium chopped
Chana dal: 1/2tsp
Mustard seeds: 1/2tsp
Turmeric: 1/2tsp
Green chilis : 1-2
Oil: 1tbsp
METHOD:
- Separately soak rice and Urad dal at least 6hrs or overnight in water
- Grind to paste
- Mix together. Add salt and add water to make batter.
- Leave it in room temperature for overnight.
- Mix onions and chilis in the batter.
- Heat a pan and griddle with little ghee or oil.
- Spread a big spoonful of the mix on pan
- Cook on both sides if desired.
- Heat oil add mustard seeds, chana dal, onions, and spices
- Fry for about 5mins on medium heat or until onions are turned into golden brown
- Add potatoes and cook for few minutes.
- Fill this mixture inside Dosa and serve hot.
