Chicken Fry | చికెన్ ఫ్రై


Chicken Fry - చికెన్ ఫ్రై This recipe is a very simple and made with less spices so that anyone can prepare in less time and enjoy the taste. 😋

INGREDIENTS:

Chicken: 1/2kg
Onions: 4 medium size
Tomatoes: 3
GreenChilis: 4-5
Ginger Garlic Paste: 2tsp
Onion Paste: 2tbsp
Chicken Masala: 2tsp
Curry Leaves: 1/4cup
Ginger: 1 inch piece
Coriander Leaves
Salt to taste
Oil: 3-4tbsp

For Marination:

Turmeric Powder: 1/4tsp
Red Chili Powder: 2tsp
Salt
Coriander (Dhaniya) Powder: 2tsp
Oil: 1tbsp

For Onion Paste:

Onions: 3 medium size
Coriander seeds: 2tbsp
Cloves: 5-8
Cinnamon: 2 inch piece

METHOD:

1. Clean chicken and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, salt and oil. Marinate chicken for at least 30mins.
2. Prepare Onion paste with the above ingredients and keep aside. You can prepare more and store it in refrigerator up to two weeks. You can use this paste whenever needed. 
3. Take a kadai and heat oil. Add green chilis and let them splatter.


4. Add sliced onion pieces and saute well on medium flame.


5. Saute Onions until they become translucent.


6. Now, add marinated chicken and mix well.


7. Add sliced tomatoes and mix well.


8. Add Ginger garlic paste. 


9. Add prepared onion paste and mix well.


10. Put the lid and cook it on low-medium flame until all the water evaporates. Stir occasionally.


11. Add Chicken masala. Here, I used Everest Chicken masala. You can use any of your choice. You can also add red chili powder and salt if needed.


12. Once chicken is well cooked, add curry leaves.


13. Add sliced ginger pieces and mix well.


14. Fry Chicken until it turns to brown and oil separates from it.


15. Transfer it to a serving plate and garnish with coriander leaves. Enjoy this simple chicken fry with rice or roti.
