Rice: 1cup 
Moong dal: 1/2cup 
Red dal: 1/2cup 
Ghee: 1tbsp 
Red chilis: 2
Onion: 1 
Ginger: small piece 
Sugar: 1/2tsp 
Turmeric: 1tsp 
Cardamom/Elaichi: 6 
Bay leaf: 1
Cinnamon: inch piece 
Salt 
METHOD:
- Soak rice, red dal and moong dal in water for 1/2 an hour.
 - After that drain the water and let them to dry.
 - Take a pan or cooker and heat ghee or oil.
 - Now fry elaichi (seeds only) and now add onion pieces, red chili powder, grated ginger.
 - After fried some time, add rice, moong dal, red dal and fry for 5 mins.
 - Now add sufficient water, salt, turmeric and cook it for one whistle.
