SEMYA UPMA



INGREDIENTS:
Semya: 1cup
Mutter: 2tbsp
Carrot
Onions: 1
Curry leaves
Red chilies: 2
Mustard Seeds: 1tsp
Urad dal: 1tsp
Chana dal: 1tsp
Ground nuts: 1tbsp
Cashew nuts: 7-10
Water: 3cups
Oil: 1tbsp

METHOD:
  1.  Fry Vermicelli Semya in 1tsp of oil or ghee for 1-2min.
  2. Now, heat 1tbsp of oil in a pan and fry mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, ground nuts, cashew nuts, onion pieces (chopped thin and sliced) carrot pieces and mutter, curry leaves, red Chilis.
  3. When Onion pieces are softened then, add some water and salt. 
  4. When, the water reaches to the boiling point then, add semya and stir well.
  5. Put the lid and sim the flame and cook until the water is evaporated.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and carrot as you wish.
