Homemade Ghee | స్వచ్ఛమైన నెయ్యి తయారుచేసుకోవడం ఎలా Simple Method


Homemade Ghee - The traditional way of ghee preparation starts with collecting the Malai from boiled milk. The steps are simple and one can prepare ghee at home easily. Let's know the authentic and traditional preparation of Ghee from Malai

The process is very simple - Malai -----> Butter -----> Ghee

Method:

1. Collect Malai from boiled cream milk. If you are collecting malai on a daily basis, then store it in freezer until you get some to prepare the ghee. Here I collected malai from Cow milk for a month.


2. Before processing the ghee, take out the malai from freezer and bring it to room temperature by keeping it in fridge or outside. 
3. Once the Malai reaches to Normal temperature add chilled water to it.


4. Blend the malai with ice cubes and chilled water until butter separates from water. Add ice cubes and chilled water in batches. 


5. Strain the butter.



6. Now, the butter is ready and if you want you can take this in a container and refrigerate it. This can be used as unsalted butter.


7. Now for Ghee preparation, take this butter in a pan and boil it on low-medium flame for 10-12mins or until the ghee is ready.





8. Once Ghee is ready, Switch off the flame and let it cool to room temperature. 


9. Take a Jar and strain the ghee into it. 


10. That's it! Traditional ghee is prepared. Enjoy the homemade butter & ghee!
